VFS 20TH ANNIVERSARY
Pop the bubbly! The Vancouver Film Studio reached a 20 year milestone a party was in order! The VFS invited guests to the iconic “Permanent” located in downtown Vancouver for a night of celebration.
Client request: Many pockets of seating for intimate conversation…but don’t you dare forget about the dance floor! The request was met by meticulous space planning that allowed for multiple furniture vignettes with precise attention to the flow of movement. Placed in the heart of the venue, a round centre bar grounded the party at set the tone for the evening.
floral arrangements that rivaled artwork. The architectural like structures were an elegant mixture of fresh florals merged with leafy palms painted in a bold cobalt blue.
Furniture was carefully sourced to allow for different needs. Communal high tops allowed for multiple seating and a place to grab a bite while the multiple ‘living room’ style vignettes created a spot for comfortable lounging and conversation. Materials such as crushed velvet in greys and royal blues, black iron rods, and glass brought the colour palette of the event to life and gave a subtle nod to The Vancouver Film Studios brand colours. In lieu of candles, round glowing orbs of various sizes were placed around the venue to bring a modern aesthetic and fresh ambiance to the space.
